Access Holdings International has access to manufacturers and OEM suppliers in many business sectors. We have experienced and qualified sourcing professionals who are familiar with Australian quality and safety standard and requirements and are technically competent to undertake these important tasks on behalf of our Clients. Our objective is to make sourcing easier for our Clients and to takeover the problem of negotiating with a supplier operating within a different business culture.

Targeted Countries

We have concentrated primarily on China for sourcing of fabrications and machining items and on Korea for sourcing of more high tech and sophisticated components. China has a lower cost of labour but both countries have comprehensive industrial processes and suitable facilities. Because of logistical benefits, AHI China is sourcing mainly in China and to a lesser extent in Korea.

Targeted Components

Sourced components and items generally fall under the following categories:
1) High volume products
2) Components that involve labour intensive production processes
3) Components which purchaser requires a small tolerance specification.
4) Machined or welded fabrications where advantage of lower sourcing cost can be derived.
   The types of components include: press stamping, machined components, fiberglass-moulded parts, fabricated parts etc.

Quality Assurance

The approach taken by AHI to ensure that the quality of foreign sourced components is consistent generally takes the following steps:

1. Supplier Selection 
2. First Article Inspections
3. Pre-Production Validations
4. Quality Control Program
5. Rejected material credits
6. Follow Up ondelivery and customer satisfaction

Time Scale

Generally, a sourcing project depending on its nature and size may take a few weeks to a few months to complete. AHI's role is to achieve the objective as agreed with the client in the shortest timeframe possible, while minimising the cost to the Client.
